Nikmat Dalam Sebuah Ujian & Penantian

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Laughter the best medicine, perhaps?

*****

3-Jimat duit belanja setiap bulan. Boleh menyimpan, menabung mahupun berbelanja sesuka hati tanpa perlu meminta pendapat pasangan terlebih dahulu.

4-Jadual harian yang bebas. Habis kuliah, boleh melepaskan penat dengan cara tersendri tanpa perlu memikirkan di mana mahu membawa buah hati tersayang makan, berjalan- jalan. Belum lagi pening kepala memikirkan “Baju apa nak pakai eh?’’.

Sekadar pendapat peribadi penulis sahaja.

Astronaut: Simple Plan

Can anybody hear me?
Am I talking to myself?
My mind is running empty
In this search for someone else
Who doesn't look right through me.
It's all just static in my head
Can anybody tell me why I'm lonely like a satellite?

'Cause tonight I'm feeling like an astronaut
Sending SOS from this tiny box
And I lost all signal when I lifted off
Now I'm stuck out here and the world forgot
Can I please come down, cause I'm tired of drifting round and round
Can I please come down?

I'm deafened by the silence
Is it something that I've done?
I know that there are millions
I can't be the only one who's so disconnected
It's so different in my head.
Can anybody tell me why I'm lonely like a satellite?

'Cause tonight I'm feeling like an astronaut
Sending SOS from this tiny box
And I lost all signal when I lifted off
Now I'm stuck out here and the world forgot
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/s/simple-plan-lyrics/astronaut-lyrics.html ]
Can I please come down, cause I'm tired of drifting round and round

Can I please come down?

Now I lie awake and scream in the zero gravity
And it's starting to weigh down on me.
Let's abort this mission now
Can I please come down?

So tonight I'm calling all astronauts
all the lonely people that the world forgot
If you hear my voice come pick me up
Are you out there?
'Cause you're all I've got!

And tonight I'm feeling like an astronaut
Sending SOS from this tiny box
And I lost all signal when I lifted off
Now I'm stuck out here and the world forgot

'Cause tonight I'm feeling like an astronaut
Sending SOS from this tiny box
To the lonely people that the world forgot
Are you out there?
'Cause you're all I've got!

Can I please come down?
'Cause I'm tired of drifting round and round.
Can I please come down? (x3)

Recipe: Humus

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Yesterday, I tried to made Hummus, a famous Arab side dish. You can either eat it with pita bread or eat it on its own. If you want to try it, here's the recipe to share:

The ingredients needed are:

1- 500gm of chickpeas. Soak it for about 12 hours. The best time is actually 24 hours. You may also use canned chickpeas.

2. 2-3 cloves of garlic. Slice them.

3. About 1/4 cups of lemon juice.

4. 1/4 cups of tahina or sesame paste. You can get it at shops that sell Arab food condiments and ingredients.

5. Dash of salt.

The methods:

1-Cook the chickpeas until tender for about 1 hour.

2- Combine it with with other ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

The end product...Humus. You may add olives with olive oil. Or sprinkle it with some paprika. In this recipe, I use chili flakes instead.

Enjoy it with a bismillah =)

Thank You Bintulu...!

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

(mun Nemo baca mesti nya madah:Kak J , tak habis2 Bintulu...) Hee...for the sake of experience and record. Mana tau nanti ada nemiak tanya. Payah dibuatnya terkebil-kebil maknya nak jawab nanti...

Day 3: 15/ December/ 2010

Nothing much done today except helped the housekeeping makcik to tidy up the room before she came...kesian pula kat dia banyak bilik nak kemas...washed the cups used, wiped the sink top in the bathroom...then, when the housekeeping makcik came, she just need to change the towels and do some arrangement according to the hotel standard. Terima Kasih makcik for keeping our room tidy during our 3 nights stay there. Thank you for teaching me a Sarawak slang/ word: Auk- which means "yes". First time heard from the people of Sarawak themselves.

When the clock strike 7pm, me and mum went for our dinner and looking for some gifts to be taken home. As usual, when someone who doesn't like shopping...tak reti nak cari barang or late in making choices. At last, grabbed a long sleeved t-shirt and few key chains with Sarawak 'identity'.

Day 4: 16/ December/ 2010 (Final Day)

Aritok last day in Bintulu... had breakfast with mum at the cafetaria then we checked-out from the hotel. We then take a taxi to the airport to catch our flight scheduled at 10:00am. Alhamdulillah landed safely at LCCT Sepang about 12:20pm.

Few things learn during my 4 days and three nights stay in Bintulu:

1- Kalau lah kamek tok seorang Manager ataupun staff kat airline kompeni tu, dah lama suh crew cabin wanita pakai seluar panjang instead off skirt. Rambut tu kalau kalau tak nak pakai tudung pun, please jangan kaler pelik-pelik. Tapi sah-sah lah tak boleh kan...tapi mana tau hati sidak berubah...

2- Foods: Not so many choices. Terima dengan seadanya ada yang ada and for sure, have to be careful in making selections.

3- Newspaper: First time in my life that I learn to read a local newspaper- SARAWAK TRIBUNE. The format and layout are almost similar to New Straits Time here.

4- Radio: I almost forgotten that the radio frequencies set in my hand phone are Lembah Klang's frequencies. Trying for auto search mode. Dapat la dengar station radio Sarawak :). Buat-buat faham auk apa sidak madah (madah-Sarawak slang meaning "Say'').

5- People: Alhamdulillah the people here are friendly. Feel much welcomed.

Hope to have the opportunity to explore the world in future.

Jaulah Bintulu: Day 2

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Day 2 in Bintulu...

Mum starts her training officially today. Did nothing much till she returns back from her session at 4:30pm. Ordered a plate of Spagetthi Bolognese from the hotel room service. Well, am new here so, am not brave enough yet to explore this area alone. Also did a little bit of practice with my khat :p.

At around 5:00pm, went to the beach a.k.a Bintulu Waterfront Promenade.

Rules and obligations of B.W.P. From what I've observed, the beach is clean. 4.5 star from me... the facilities are also well managed and taken care of.

Apa agaknya rezeki pakcik ini hari ni?

We later went to the area that we went for dinner last night but this time around we explore some shops outside the complex. Well...most shops are already closed by 5:30-6:00pm so there's nothing much to see. The same environment and situation as the beach earlier. This little town is clean...and the traffic is not as hectic and busy as Kuala Lumpur.

Their spontaneus, sporting and cheerful reaction upon seeing me holding my camera.

Mano eh pokcik nak gi?

As I kept thinking from yesterday, the Christmas fever here seems a bit more 'happening'. In KL, it is normal to see Christmas trees being placed in malls, with some lighting decorations, mock presents placed underneath the tree. Here, almost every shops that I go, their staffs wear the red Christmas cap and the decorations are a bit 'heavier'. Maybe I forget to do some research about their culture, community and religion before coming here. Well, my first task upon reaching home later, I guess.

Jalan-jalan, nampak tanda ni. I'm still thinking and guessing what's this SIDANG INJIL BORNEO? A church? A hall? Association?

Stopped by a bookstore...(mama kata:macam la takda kedai buku kat Bangi tu)...theeee...apa nak buat. Dah suka... At 7:00pm, the hotel shuttle bus came to pick us up from the mall.

The shuttle bus was driven fastly. A bit blurry though this picture. This shop sign reads : 100% Discount Store. Does it mean all items are free of charge? Or they are actually trying to say that the prices of every items in the shop are discounted ?

Trying to take the picture of a shop signboard but as again the bus was too fast, this is what I got.

Jaulah Bintulu: Day 1

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Alhamdullah. Praise be to The Almighty for giving me the opportunity to accompany mum to conduct her training here in Bintulu, Sarawak. Watching how our parents do their job will make us appreciate more with what they had given us. This is a little bit of notes on my first day here:

13/ December/ 2010

9:00 am- 11:45am: Doing last minute checkings and making sure that all essential items and clothings are already packed in the luggage. Prepared some meals for abah as he could not follow us on this trip. As I wish to be a full-time housewife, I have and must learn to do few task at one time as fast as I can. Mum went to her office for a while to pick up some items for her training session.

11:45am- 12:40pm: The taxi arrived and tooks us to the LCCT terminal in Sepang.

12:40pm-1:20pm: Arrived at LCCT terminal, checked in our luggages and lingered around while waiting for the entry gate to be opened. The airport was quite packed...with people waiting to travel to their respective destinations during this holiday season.

1:20 pm- 2:10pm: Finally, flight AK 5114 Bintulu turn to board. Ok. Not really yet as there's a little bit of delay (schedule of departure is actually 1:50pm). But I use the waiting time on board to read the magazine provided together with mum.

At the same time, I keep on thinking to myself. About the female crew cabins. Their uniform. Why could'nt they just put on long pants instead of a slited short skirts? Does'nt that will make their movement easier? During emergencies (nauzubillah minzaalik) where it may require those on board to run in order to safe their (our lives)? Kan molek sikit :).

2:10pm- 4:15pm: Alhamdulillah the 2 hours and 5minute filght went smoothly. Enjoyed the beauty of nature created by Allah The Almighty from thousands of kilometres in the sky. Masya Allah! The clouds were so beatiful...oh...I can't remember the names of clouds learnt during the school days. Sirrus, colomonimbus...err..is this right :p?

View from the sky shortly after leaving LCCT

The amazing clouds

Another amazing discovery was that saw two different seas clearly divided upon leaving the Peninsular and approaching the Borneo Island; but am not sure what's the factor behind it-is it the depths, or the saturation of salt? Subhanallah...subhanallah...subhanallah...

See? With a thin white "divider'' in the middle...

Taking a peek at Sarawak

4:15pm- 5:30pm: Landed safetly at Bintulu Airport. Thank You pilot Captain Azzam (if I was not mistaken) and his crew for their wonderful service along the journey.

Mama...look! We are almost there...( a kid few seats away from me)

Waited with mum at the luggage waiting area. There's something bit hilarious happened while we stand waiting at the conveyor. Mum got her luggage but I did not spot mine even the coveyor belt had been spinning around a few times (untill I almost remembered the bags and items arrangement on the belt!). Then...pop! A luggage fall out of nowhere from the belt and it was mine. Mum laughed too (^-^).

Halt a taxi and continue our next 30 minutes journey to Park City Everly Hotel.
5:30pm-7:00pm: Check-in at the hotel and unpack our bags. Actually, there's a few things that crossed my mind before arriving at the hotel:
a) Is there a proper water pipe nearby the toilet or its just a water bidet/ we have to fetch water from the sink to clean ourself after the "bussiness"?
b) The mini-fridge/ mini bar. What's in there?
Alhamdulillah there's a proper water pipe beside the toilet and alhamdulillah there's no alcoholic drinks placed in the mini-bar.
As we might probably know, the time here in Sarawak is in a different time zone. For example, the Maghrib prayer time for today is 6:24pm and Isya' is around 7:30 something. Remembered when I was small, when the television or newspaper published the buka puasa time, I alaways say " It's not fair that they get the chance to break fast early :P" not knowing that Borneo Island has a different time zone. Budak- budak...
7:00pm-8:00pm: After performing jama' Maghrib and Isya' prayer, we took the shuttle bus provided by the hotel to go to a nearby mall for dinner and buying few foodstuff stocks.
Learnt a lot of things here. Firstly, the mall is not as big as what we have in Kuala Lumpur. Am not a shopaholic but I think even if we walk around the mall a hundred times is not as tiring as making a few rounds in at mall in KL.
Secondly, the choice of items at the supermarket. We have to be very careful before picking up our items and place them in our trolley. Take bread for example. I was looking around for bread when I found no Gardenia or other familiar brands. There's only one type of bread with no halal markings. Better be safe =).Fresh milk, not many chioice available. Oh...susu...dimanakah dikau...As for the meal for dinner, we were left with only one choice- a fast food chain restraunt as the other food stalls' halal status are questionable.
While waiting for the shuttle bus to take us (with few other guests) back to the hotel, I took out my Mr Haytham to snap few photos. Alhamdulillah greeted with few friendly faces that makes me feel welcomed.

Another different situation here in Bintulu from Peninsular was that at around 8:30pm, Bintulu city is quiet and almost all shops are already closed.
Back to our room, it was 8:45pm and I said to mum "Ma, Mairah nak solat Isya' dulu baru makan". Totally forget that the time zone is different and I have performed Maghrib & Isya' jama' prayer earlier (usually in KL, 8:45 baru masuk Isya'). I guess I need time to adjust myself ('',).

May Allah Bless our vacation ahead.
Allah Knows Best.

Holiday activities so far...

As usual, my favourite motive (and food!)-fish. Part of a pencil case.

Bunga telur for my friend's wedding this coming December. Figuring other designs, too.

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

These were some crafts made to kill my time this break. The bunga telur a.k.a rosette (to be worn by her family members on the big day) is a request by my officemate Kak Yatt for her wedding this coming December. 20 more to made. And Insya Allah on her wedding day, I will be given the responsibility to photograph the event from akad to reception. Rabbi yassir wala tu'assir...rabbi tammim bikhair..(moga dipermudahkan segala urusan...ameen).

Congratulations to my childhood friend, Nani and her husband for the arrival of bundle of joy yesterday. Shall pay a visit soon, Insya Allah.

Sacrifice, Syukur and Sewing

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Alhamdulillah...today is my 2nd day of school holiday (attn Puan Ain @ Cousin: Saya cuti awal dari kamu...hihi) and the day of Eid ul Adha 1431H. So happy to be safely home with my beloved family. Performed eid prayer with my parents at the UNITEN Mosque. After Zuhr prayer, went to pay a visit to my aunt in Shah Alam. A small family gathering and du'a selamat.

There, while finishing my meal, watch a Eid ul Adha documentary. Sinar Aidul Adha if I was not mistaken. About their journey and visit to a remote village in Cambodia. Watching it, makes me more thankful and grateful with what I am having now. They still bath and wash their clothing using water from the well, eat rice with only salt as their lauk, and share few tin cans to be used as cups during kenduri or majlis. Some of their mosque are leaking here and there. But I was really amazed as the bilal@ imam of the mosque in that particular village is blind yet still walks confidently to the mosque without anyone helping. His voice saying the azan was also...beautiful. Masya Allah.

Here, we are fortunate to have a proper bathroom and sewage system, delicious lauk and foods to enjoy. There... they only get the chance to eat meat once a year during Eid ul Adha. During ceremony and kenduri, at least we use a decent glass to quench our thirst without having to share with other people. Our mosques here, so far to which I have go, can be used as a protection during rain or shine without water leaking and dropping on your head while praying yet...its only full during Jumu'ah or Eid prayer.

Someone said to me, in the worldly matters, we should always look at those who are less fortunate than us to be thankful and grateful with what we have. But in akhirah or the matter of 'ibadah, we should made those who are more pious as our motivation and aspiration to be a better 'abid.

Other episode of life...

This is my pencil case. Have to stuff everything there. But feel sorry to some of my stationery as not all can go inside there. Kecik. Especially to my 6 whiteboard markers. Haish. Too many ah? Black, blue, red, violet, orange, green. Used particularly during my science class. To draw every thing on the whiteboard; an effort to make my student understand better.

The solution? Just now, finished making and sewing my own pencil bag in 1 hour. Now, I can put everything inside it. Nothing left behind. Hope so ;).

Making more plans for this year end break.

Esok mahu buat pizza and jahit benda lain...lagi. Menghabiskan benang aja...

Allah Knows Best.

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

I would like to wish Selamat Hari Raya Eid al- Adha to all fellow friends and family members. To my dear students, take care and make use of this long holiday. Take care of yourselves and hope to see all of you in the school session 2011.

Ok. If the students are enjoying their break, same goes to their teacher here ;). Selamat Pengantin Baru to my fellow teachers Kak Aziziah, Kak Hasmah, Kak Ila, Kak Madihah and Muallim Baihaqi. Barakallahuhama wa baraka alaikuma wajam'a bainakuma fil khair...

Random II

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Ada rezeki kemudian hari, who knows ?

Duit sewa rumah, tak payah pening nak fikir. Alhamdulillah tumpang a family-friend (kawan mama).

Nak cari lagi buku khat kat kedai Arab macam hari tu. Jom pergi Kinokuniya.

Hampir terlupa misi paling penting...gi JPJ on-road test kereta. Nanti mama marah. Aku yang risau. Pegang steering, tak toleh kiri kanan dah...sampai cikgu driving selalu kata "Slow la sikit...". Opss, Syifaa' nanti jangan tiru mama.

Hobbies-revived.

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Ok. Enough of Convocation 2010 story. Will keep the rest of story for my kids later.

Alhamdulillah I am now in a short-break mood.3 days. 5-7 October 2010. PMR. So, I take this opportunity to be at home with my parents and cats. But not a full holiday. Have to finish sewing order (bekas botol air) from my officemate and cheesecake order from an IIUM Counselor.

Bought 4 new khat books yesterday. I like them very much. Just need to warm up and open back my box of khat-writing supplies. Belajar penat-penat tak praktis, nanti lupa. Orang kata kalau mak suka kat buku, nanti anak-anak pun Insya Allah suka buku ('',).

Ok. Just a short break. Need to bake some blueberry muffins as will visit my aunt and grandma in Shah Alam tonight. Nak?

Allah knows best.

Macam-macam ada...

Bismillahirahmanirahim....

Alhamdulillah we are now reaching the 16th of Ramadhan 1431. I think today of I turn on my radio on my phone , lagu raya will be here and there (first time sahur di IIUM Gombak dgn Amni, Chah, Miza, Alyn, Sam, Aimi-punya nak bagi celik mata pasang Dendang Perantau).

Tomorrow, 27th August/ 17th Ramadhan will be Nuzul Qur'an and the school i'tiqaf at Masjid Usamah bin Zayd, Wangsa Maju. Can't wait for the moment (thanks ayah for letting me to join the programme & postponing our balik kampung trip to Johor on Saturday afternoon). The school management did allow its staff to bring their family members (ok...siapa nak ikut mama?Abah?...haha).

Mosques should be more 'children friendly' rather than putting up the sign "KANAK-KANAK DI BAWAH USIA 5 TAHUN TIDAK DIBENARKAN'' etc. It is a quite frustrating scenario I guess. They should just let the kids to linger around the mosque compund observing the adults doing their prayers and other 'ibadah rather than letting them to linger around shopping malls and cinemas ( terima kasih nenek masa Yah kecik2 dulu nenek selalu bawak ke Masjid Kampung Baru).

Raya preparations? Honestly I am not the type that loves shopping (bertuah abah nanti kan?). i just can't stand the idea walking in the middle of hundreds of people on a hot day just to get the best tudung bargain. I would rather buy them early or...just wear any jubah/ baju kurung that I have. When my cousins were still small, wearing fancy baju kurung and tudung would not be my choice as I have to entertain them. I even have to put of my spectacles as babies really like to pull them off.

Kasut raya also like that...no fancy or beaded sandals for me. Last raya, I did not aware that mum observed my foot ware and brought me to a nearby shopping mall on the malam raya to buy a new pair for me (mak pun pening aku pilih sneakers BUM kaler itam instead of a bling-bling slippers. Lagi sedap nak jalan).

Kuih raya? If people were to visit my home in Bangi, they would not find 10 jars of kuih raya arranged on the coffee table. Usually, I will only bake chocolate chips cookies and cornflake cookies and mum will usually cook if guests come over to our place.

Randoms...

Bismillahirahmanirahim…

It’s been a while since I wrote something in this page. I’ve been a week in Waterfront Kuala Terengganu accompanying mum conducting a course there. Alhamdulillah as I gained a lot of experiences while being in other people’s place.

Food. Ok. I know I am bit into foods but really…the choices in Terengganu are really wonderful. With their famous keropok lekor and keropok keping, sagun, all kinds of dipping sauces and sweets. Visited the Pasar Payang on the second day there and received a memorable remark by a makcik there: Adik, cuti skoloh ka?. Err…do I look too young. Haha. No la kan. Why would the makcik think that I am still schooling when wife-hood and mummy-hood is just few years away?

Business. As to my observation, there are a numbers of jewelry shops around there. Every few steps you take, you are sure to meet at least one. Choosing other stuffs such as batik apparels and pieces should be done carefully as different shops selling the same product with different price range. Saw two interesting signboards and took me minutes to figure out what they meant actually (my Terengganu vocabulary are disaster): Roti Tempayang and Jeput Pisang which later I discover there are actually: Roti Tempayan (Roti Naan) and Jemput Pisang (or Cekodok). Lessons learnt: Learn others’ language before entering their territory ; p.

Places of Interest. I went to Pulau Wan Man or Taman Tamadun Islam where it houses the Crystal Mosque and other 20 replicas of mosques around the world but unfortunately, I did not really enter the vicinity of the interesting replicas for a closer look as it was around 12 noon and the sun was high in the sky. However, I got the chance to glance at few of them through the gate. They are really, really beautiful and should make the place a must visit place the next time I go there one day, Insya Allah.

Holiday:Over

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Insya Allah after a long break (anggaplah macam semester break 3 bulan tu), my life will start to be busy, again. Starting this Sunday morning following mum to motivation + study programme (known as BAKTI PETRONAS) at SK Bukit Bangsar. Honestly I miss those kids. Eventhough I only follow the programme like once in a blue moon (if I went back home during my undergraduate days), they did call me 'TEACHER' (I don't teach, just doing some observation. Agaknya ada cop 'CIKGU' kot..hehe). This time, the mission will also include some photo shoots (my photography mentor said: Jangan malu. Nak belajar).

After Zuhur, will go back to my grandma's place in Batu Pahat to stay for a night and heading straight to JB on Sunday morning for daddy's cousin wedding ceremony. The journey will continue to Singapore if the time permits. Just have to get ready with our passports and planning the best route to reach there. The first time I went to Singapore was May 2009-right after discharge from the hospital for diagnosis. The verdict? Cried in the car as my muscles/ spine got crammed due to the long queue at the Woodlands Checkpoint.

What I like about Singapore is that their country is VERY CLEAN even though their citizens are not majority Muslims. Haven't had the chance to have a ride on their LRT/ Monorails yet but people said the commuters are VERY DISCIPLINED when boarding and getting of the coaches. Unlike what is experienced here. As during my study days I have to commute almost every weekend to went back to my house in Bangi, riding the PUTRA LRT and KTMB Commuter were the only convenient choice. Let just forget about the delayed schedules, packed coaches, undisciplined passengers.

The week after will be a trip to Terengganu to accompany mum conduct training there and on the 17th July (Friday) a photo shoot job for IIUM Peers Batch 13 graduation dinner. I am really thankful to Allah for opening my heart to join the IIUM Counselling Department support group 3 years ago as I have benefited a lot from it. Apart from emotional support and training, I do gain some other self development experiences. Thank you crews.

Am now searching for a place to take a course in Baking. Found a place which offers a Diploma in Baking but as the programme will take at least a year, I may consider it later. At the mean time, I'm hoping to undergo a 3 month (a short time course) before continueing my studies at Masters level.

Speaking about taking a step further for my degree, I am not sure what had openned my heart (aish...) to do so. At first, I think to venture into the career world first as mum had been wishing to take early resignation (probably by next year) and I am ready to take the responsibilities as I am the eldest child and grandchild on her side. But as she said its okay to do so with the funds available, I am ready to take the challenge. I do miss sometimes the times studying with my best friend Hidayu- whom Prof Malik Badri called us TWINS. So, the next mission would be finding a referee to obtain their approvals.

From left: Hidayu, me, and Icah (releasing the boredom after conducting heaps of experiments).

Rabbi Yassir Wala Tu'assir...
Rabbi Tammim Bikhair.

Rabbana Aatina Fiddunia Hasanah...
Wa Fil Aakhiratil Hasanah...
Waqina Azabannaar...

Amin...

Travelog Ukhuwwah (KL-IPOH-SUNGAI PETANI-YAN)

Bismillahirahmanirahim…

PERTEMUAN MAK & SAHABAT SEKULIAH ITM-TAUTAN SETELAH 30 THN

Alhamdulillah mak bertemu kembali dengan sahabat sekuliah beliau semasa di ITM dahulu setelah hampir 30 tahun berpisah. Misi pencarian mak akan sahabat beliau hanya sekejap. Mungkin kerana keberkatan ukhuwwah.

Selamat Pengantin Baru buat sepupuku Nurulain. Welcome to the family buat Mohd Fauwaz Najmi. Terimah kasih atas layanan (warm welcome) yang kami terima sepanjang majlis. Seronok dapat tengok Gunung Jerai. Masya Allah. Sungguh indah ciptaanNYA.

Barakallahu fikum...

Gunung Jerai nan indah

‘BACK TO SCHOOL’- AYAH KEMBALI KE MCKK

See?

Future planning

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Semalam mama cakap..."Mahirah list kan benda2 yang hendak dibuat habis study nanti (Insya Allah April 2010 depan)" Maka, minda aku yang sekali-sekala perlu dikreatifkan ini pun berfikir...nah. Inilah hasil buah fikiran ku:

1- Sambung Master in Educational Counselling. Alhamdulillah setelah lama berfikir2 dan istikharah, dah ambil borang (borang pun kira ok lah kan?) Dimana tu? Ada lah. Jiran IRKHS building je. Sepelaung orang kata. Heha.

2- Kerja. Ini terbahagi kepada 2:
part A: Sambil sudah habis exam, sambil menuggu2,rancang nak kerja part-time di suatu office yang best ini. Dah jumpa bos/ head dia. Mana tu? (garu kepala je la...misteri2)
part B: Mengajar.

Sekian.

Nota cuti: Exam saya sudah habis. 8/11/2009 Ahad lalu. Semua geram...lala. sabar2. Depa rata2 16/ 17/ 18 November. Tugas ku, jadi P.A Mama ke mana2. Lusa teman dia pantau outdoor session new executive PETRONAS. Best sangat...Alhamdulillah.

Kisah Raya

Bismillahirahmanirahim...

Alhamdulillah Syawwal dah menjengah hari ke-5. Sehari sebelum raya, tiba di kampung belah ayah di Tongkang Pechah, Batu Pahat. Hmmm...dah berapa lama agaknya tidak balik kampung semenjak perjalanan ke Singapura hujung Mei lalu. Alhamdulillah masih dipanjangkan usia untuk bertemu dengan mak atok, sepupu sepapat, makcik pakcik dan orang-orang kampung (haa...tapi bukan satu Batu Pahat ye). Tengah hari Syawwal the 2nd (hehe..mcm tajuk filem pula) bertolak ke kampung belah mama pula di Muar. Syawwal ke-3 baru pulang semula ke Bangi (ke Kajang eh-bak kata Adik).

1- Erti raya:

Bersedialah...

3- Persiapan raya:

a- Baju raya: Tahun ni aku pecah rekod untuk diri sendiri. Kali pertama baju raya ada 4 pasang. 3 beli guna duit sendiri dan 1 cik bagi. Terima kasih byk ('',).

c- Kuih raya: Tak beli. Buat sendiri lagi jimat. Kalau beli satu balang sekurang-kurangnya harga dia RM 20 untuk 50 biji. Lagipun, buat sendiri lagi 'fresh'.

Tapi masa nak hulur, depa mesti tanya "belajar lagi kan?''. Pak cik kat Bank Muamalat UIA mesti sengih je kalau aku masuk nak deposit duit. Dah la selalu 'susahkan' depa bila aku nak simpan koleksi duit syiling aku. Ala pakcik...simpanan. Tahun depan pula macam mana ye?

4- Soalan cepucemas:

- Kak Azra kata " Moga Mahirah cepat-cepat kahwin". Mak cik Enah pula kata "Ha...macam kuat dah angin kata ada orang nak kahwin''.
- Adik sepupu, Muhammad pula kata " Kak Mahirah, tok Utih (atok saudara) dah ada cicit. Kak Mahirah kahwin la cepat bagi tok Badariah cicit"
- Kesimpulannya...
'pelamin dulu'. Hormat...hehe
- hah. Depa tak sabar nak sponsor apa dok tanya-tanya ni. Penat aku nak jawab
- Calon pun tak jumpa lagi. Allah knows best. Moga dipertemukan dengan insan yang
diredhai Allah S.W.T
- Allah knows best.

Akhirul kalam, Eid Mubaraq ilaikum...('',)

Alhamdulilllah atas segala nikmat...

Bismillahirrahmanirahim...

Hari ini aku cuti. Sebab ada appointment & check-up kat hospital. Isnin hari tu minta izin kat lecturer nak cuti. Madam Aminatu-Counseling Psyc-senyum je. Ok la tu kan. Dr Mariam-Experimental-ok...just give me an mc. Alhamdulillah. Sekali cakap je. Padahal setahu aku dia strict pasal attendance. Terima kasih madam...

Tetapi...sebelum ambil cuti, haruslah disiapkan tugas2. Experimental Report 1 due hari ni. Jadi, kerja edit, tambah maklumat last minute...sakit ooo. Counseling, buat notes & revision.

Sukanya aku...dapat buku baru. Not really a book but a seminar material.Pinjam & fotokopi dari Che Wan. The Buzan Technique-effective thinking for higher performance. Mengenai 'mind-mapping'. A simpler version & lagi mudah untuk difahami. Pen warna memang dah ada (bahan project khat sem lepas). Kertas pun dah ada. Tangan ni...bila nak mula melukis?

Back to the hospital story...2 pm sampai kat bahagian specialist. Ambil nombor giliran. Cuma kena watch my postures & still tak boleh buat kerja berat sgt...(kes budak malas makan ubat macam ni la). Next check-up sebulan dari sekarang.

On the way back, cari kedai motor dgn mama. Nak beli helmet je pun. Huhu. Masa tak nak, macam banyak pula nampak. Ni, masa tengah hunting, macam nak cari emas. Pusing- pusing Kajang, tak dapat, balik Bangi. Ada la 1 kat seksyen 9. Tu pun, payah nak cari saiz. Don't ask why. Akhir sekali, tutup mata amik yg RM 120. Tu je yang selesa. Yang lain, ketat. Warna merah belang2 cap LTD. Yang aku ni pula 1 hal. Nak yg pelik sikit taku tertukar dgr orang lain (ala2 tgh musim pak guard & mak guard tgh cari siapa yg tak pakai helmet kan?). Mengada2 betul. Lesen dulu yea kena amik. La ni blaja dulu jadi penumpang....
